Emiri Decree
Emiri Decree No. (18) of 2006 We, Saqr Bin Mohamed Bin Salim Al Qasimi Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate & Dependencies Thereof Whereas Ras Al Khaimah International Airport had been established in 1976; And after perusal of two Decrees Nos. 9/1997 and 6/1999 related to setting up Ras Al Khaimah International Airport Board of Directors in 1976; And whereas no Emiri Decree had been promulgated on establishing Department of Civil Aviation; And in order to legalize Department of Civil Aviation; Based on what had been presented to us by Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler. have decreed the following: Article 1 We legitimate all procedures taken to establish Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah in 1976 and approve acts made thereby and consider the same legal ones. Article 2 This Decree shall be considered in force since Department of Civil Aviation had been established in 1976. Saqr Bin Mohamed Bin Salim Al Qasimi Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate &Dependencies Thereof Promulgated by us on this day, eighteenth of Shawal, 1427 H. Corresponding to ninth of November, 2006 G.
  • We legitimate all procedures taken to establish Department of Civil Aviation in Ras Al Khaimah in 1976 and approve acts made thereby and consider the same legal ones.
     
  • This Decree shall be considered in force since Department of Civil Aviation had been established in 1976.
