Emiri Decree No. (18) of the year 2023On the Dissolution of Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City Investment Authority established by virtue of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013 We, Saud Bin Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, having perused: Law No. (1) of 2000 on Ras Al Khaimah Free Zones (as amended), Law No 9 of 2008 regarding the formation of Ras Al Khaimah Ports (as amended), Emiri Decree No. (21) of 2009 regarding the formation of RAK Maritime City, and Emiri Decree No. (15) of 2013 concerning RAK Maritime City, decreed as follows: Article (1) Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City Investment Authority, established by virtue of Article 9 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013, is hereby dissolved including its board of directors. Article (2) a) The definition of “Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City Investment Authority” is hereby deleted from Article 1 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013; and b) Articles 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013 are hereby deleted. Article (3) The other remaining articles of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013 shall remain as they are without change or amendment. Article (4) This Decree shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the official gazette.   • Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City Investment Authority, established by virtue of Article 9 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013, is hereby dissolved including its board of directors. 

     
  • a) The definition of “Ras Al Khaimah Maritime City Investment Authority” is hereby deleted from Article 1 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013; and

    b) Articles 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013 are hereby deleted.

     
  • The other remaining articles of Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2013 shall remain as they are without change or amendment.

     
  • This Decree shall take effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the official gazette.
