RAKDED Continues its Ettamen Initiative for Car Workshops January 03,2018

Ras Al Khaimah Department of Economic Development (RAKDED), represented by the Control and Commercial Protection Department continued its Ettamen initiative, launched at the beginning of 2017, to cover all Emirate's car workshops by implementing a comprehensive awareness campaign to confirm its commitment to protecting consumers. Ettamen is also designing special cards bearing RAKDED's logo to enter these workshops, on which the car's data and the required service is registered.

Head of Commercial Protection Section, Fatima Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi said: "The campaign has included 200 workshops since its inception in early 2017. Furthermore, the Department is conducting periodic inspection to ensure that the cards are being properly used in terms of recording the consumer information, the concerned workshop and entry date aside the provided services in order to guarantee the rights of both parties."
