Crown Prince of RAK inaugurates Mohammed Bin Zayed Field Hospital April 13,2021

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, inaugurated Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital as part of a set of field hospitals constructed in all cities of the state by "SEHA" in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi and under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital in RAK is built on seven thousand square meters containing 204 beds, 48 of which are allocated for intensive care and 156 for moderate and severe cases. Services are provided in the Hospital by 75 doctors, 231 nurses, 44 technicians and assistant health personnel.

HH/ the Crown Prince of RAK stressed that the construction of Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital in RAK reflects the UAE’s pioneering efforts to prevent the spread of "Covid-19" and to provide medical care for everyone according to the latest health protocols applied in the world.

On this occasion, HH/ the Crown Prince of RAK said that the Field Hospital in RAK represents a qualitative addition in such vital sector, which would enhance the medical capabilities in the Emirate to provide the medical services and care for the persons infected with Covid-19 and maintain the health and safety of everyone.
HH added that the construction of field hospitals in all Emirates of the state reflects the shrewd leadership’s keenness to provide the best health care to the residents of the Emirates and to maintain the health and safety of everyone indicating that everyone’s health is a top priority.
He also expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to HH/ Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his ongoing support and directives of establishing and equipping the field hospitals in various emirates of the state, which confirms his great keenness on the health of citizens and residents, which is reflected in the high rates of recovery from Covid-19.
His Highness stated that RAK, in line with the directives of HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, will continue exerting its efforts to take the best measures with the aim of overcoming Covid-19 pandemic through a pioneering health system.
HH/ the Crown Prince of RAK affirmed that the Field Hospital reflects the high level of readiness of the UAE based on the highest medical standards and taking the best measures to overcome the pandemic with high efficiency and professionalism with the aim of preserving the health of the UAE population. 
During an inspection tour in various departments at the Hospital, HH and his escorts listened to adequate explanation from officers about the Hospital's components, equipment, strategy and methods of working. He reviewed the steps that have been taken in order to equip the Hospital with all the medical equipment and tools needed to treat the cases that will be referred to the Hospital if needed. This Hospital is deemed as important addition to the governmental and private hospitals operating in the Emirate, which, with the integration of their roles, constitute one of the most important components of the effective health system in the UAE.
HH recognized the integration of roles of all work teams from all entities that support Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital in the Emirate. HH expressed his admiration of the integrated work system that was prepared to secure the highest levels of work efficiency in the Hospital and to enhance its ability in dealing with all emergent health needs in a manner that supports the entire capacity of health system in the UAE.
On his part, Saif Arhama Al Shamsi, Deputy General Manager of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, affirmed that the construction of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital in RAK reflects the shrewd leadership directives that aim at taking benefit from all the national resources to support health sector and increase the capacity to provide the best means of health care and prevent the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, which confirms that human health is the leadership's top priority.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention confirmed that the construction of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital in RAK with high operational capabilities comes as part of the UAE government's keenness to provide all sources to enhance the capabilities of the state's health system and improve its efficiency to overcome the challenge of Covid-19 and to provide care and treatment services for all members of society as per the best medical standards and the highest levels of quality in line with the directives served by the shrewd leadership which affirms that protecting the health of society comes first among all the national priorities.
The Ministry said that this measure establishes confidence in the UAE ability to overcome challenges due to the health system efficiency and ability to create effective treatment and preventive solutions through proactive, effective and well-considered measures that have proven positive results in the protection of community.
The Ministry stated that the UAE has occupied a global leadership in the field of proactive and national flexibility in dealing with "Covid-19" and the readiness for any developments thanks to the resources and capabilities provided by the shrewd leadership and its keenness to continuously communicate with field personnel to enhance positivity and motivation and instill reassurance and confidence in society segments regarding the UAE capabilities to overcome the crisis and reach recovery phase with the aim of building on the achievements and preserving the gains to enhance the state's reputation.

The Ministry hailed the efforts exerted by the heroes of the first line of defense who gave inspiring examples of sacrifice, and affirmed its pride in the national medical cadres who represent a role model in giving and dedication.
On turn, Salem Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), said that the UAE continues to adopt the best international practices in order to complement the current health care system in the state and enhance the sector’s capabilities and its readiness to overcome Covid-19.
He added that, in line with the directives of our wise leadership, we will remain committed to cooperating with other bodies and directing our collective strength towards achieving a supreme goal represented in providing the best health care offers and protecting our community. Since we are prime models, we confirm on the need for rapid and proactive cooperation. We have witnessed remarkable success regarding the concerting our efforts in providing exclusive places for treatment and quarantine for Covid-19 patients. We are very grateful to all our partners for their generosity by giving us additional spaces for the success of our mission of society protection.
Al-Nuaimi expressed his deep gratitude to all of those who participated in the rapid construction of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital in RAK, and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of our medical staff and their great sacrifices to ensure that these facilities are ready to serve all patients.
On turn, Dr. Marwan Al Kaabi, Acting Executive Manager of Operations at SEHA affirmed that SEHA with its huge experience, qualified medical, technical and administrative staff, and advanced medical equipment is a pillar of the health care sector in the UAE, which enabled it to support the state's efforts in fighting COVID-19 pandemic. SEHA continues its efforts to overcome the pandemic by establishing more field hospitals in some of the state's emirates.
Dr. Marwan Al Kaabi said that opening Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Field Hospital in RAK is a qualitative addition to the field hospitals that were already opened in Sharjah and Ajman. These field hospitals contribute to dealing with the number of people infected with Covid-19 and providing them with the necessary medical care as per the highest global standards.
