Biggest Car Registration and Inspection Center in Ras Al Khaimah September 16,2017

Jamal Al Tair, Chairman of the Board of the General Resources Authority (GRA) in Ras Al Khaimah revealed a project for building the first “Tasjeel Village” in Ras Al Khaimah, which will be the biggest of its kind in the UAE and the Middle East. With its overall area of 50,000 square meters, the village will be the biggest among its peers for car registration and inspection.

 

Jamal Al Tair revealed that the estimated cost of building the new Tasjeel Village in the Emirate, which will be constructed by ENOC in cooperation and coordination with the GRA, is around AED 60 million, with an overall capacity of 1,000 vehicles per day. The village is located on the Emirates Road in Ras Al Khaimah. Al-Tair noted that ENOC, in partnership with the GRA, will open in the coming days a temporary technical inspection and registration station in the Emirate named “Tasjeel Al Jaza'a” at the current EPCO petrol station located next to Manar Mall in order to meet the current needs in it.

 

Al Tair also explained that the duration for carrying out this vital project is two years, and it’s expected to open the registration village in Ras Al Khaimah on January 1st 2019, while the cornerstone for the project will be laid on November 1st 2017, after which construction will begin immediately.

 

Maysoun Mohammed Al Dhahab, charge d’affaires of the GRA Director General, said that the project represents a quantum leap in car inspection and registration services. The services provided include technical inspection, a VIP lounge, vehicle repair and maintenance workshops, a gas station, car wash, oil change facilities, and other related services.
