Pursuant to the requirements of the current situation in terms of social distancing and with the aim of preserving the individual and community health during the COVID-19 crisis, Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department announced its intention to provide all its judicial and authentication services remotely as of tomorrow, Sunday.

In this regard, Ahmed Mohammed Al Khateri, Chairman of the Courts Department in Ras Al Khaimah, said: “The department offers 193 e-services via the RAK government official website. Clients will be able to leverage these services around the clock without the need to approach the courts. The department provides dedicated packages for lawyers, individuals, corporates and banks. Such packages include services as registration of first instance cases; appellate proceedings; appeals; provisional and special urgency matters; submission and follow-up of judicial requests, execution requests, requisitions and requests of provisional and special urgency matters. The services also include providing enquiry service with regards to all details of cases and implementation issues, as well as payment of trusts, alimonies, estate and quick payment services. Additionally, the courts offer free of subscription e-services.”
