RAK Hosts the Emirates Foundation Youth Summit October 05,2017

Under patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Chairman of Emirates Foundation, the fifth Emirates Foundation Youth Summit launches on October 31^st at Expo Ras Al Khaimah.

Commenting on the occasion, Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Managing Director and Board Member of Emirates Foundation, said that the wise leadership of the UAE is committed to the youth and to adopting policies that foster capacity building among the new generations, and we follow their great example in our belief that the youth play a vital role in our country’s development. 

“This year’s edition of the Emirates Foundation Youth Summit builds on the success story that started five years ago, focusing on building the future leaders from around the country, and conducting programs and initiatives to enable them to exploit their full potential in serving their society. This falls in line with the commitment of the UAE government to support the youth and enable them to realize their true potentials and fully participate in their country’s development,” he added.

Sheikh Sultan also highlighted that holding the fifth edition of the summit reflects Emirates Foundation’s commitment to motivating young generations and instilling the spirit of creativity, innovation, and initiative in them. “I invite our youth throughout the UAE to take advantage of the programs, panels, and interactive workshops included in the summit, and I call upon our partners from the public and private sectors to take part in the discussions and help enabling the youth and leaving a positive impact on their lives,” he concluded.

Held over two days under the slogan “Guide. Empower. Future Leaders”, the summit represents a unique platform for mobilizing young generations and developing their capacities and skills, with the ultimate goal of leaving a positive and sustainable impact on their community and country.

The fifth edition of the Emirates Foundation Youth Summit will feature a variety of activities and programs that offer guidance to young people and motivate them to fully explore their potential and capabilities in innovation and creativity. 

This will include presentations, interactive workshops, motivational sessions, and discussion panels with a number of inspirational public figures in the field. 

Holding the summit in RAK comes in line with the foundation’s strategy to expand its reach to wider audience, and interact directly with the youth around the UAE.
