RAK Courts to use visual communication system March 20,2018

Judges at the Department of Courts in Ras al-Khaimah have commenced using direct visual communication system to meet inmates in Punitive and Correctional Establishments, who are being tried in civilian cases.
Ahmed Mohammed Al Khateri, Chairman of the Department, said the communication technology saves time and energy as inmates don't need to come personally to courts for questioning.
He added that the initiative was implemented in cooperation and coordination with strategic partners of the Department.
