Government Entities

The Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence is considered as one of the government organisations entrusted with the development of the public sector in all its strategic, operational, regulatory and human aspects. The program consists of four main units, namely: the Scholarship and Student Development Program, Organisational Excellence Award, RAK Office of Competitiveness and the RAK Award for Educational Excellence.

The program supports overall development in the emirate by sponsoring distinguished students, preparing future leaders, developing institutional capacity and enabling government agencies to apply international standards of excellence. The program also aims to discover, attract and develop promising talent with the capacity and capability for growth and development, as well as to encourage positive competition between local institutions in light of the global standards of excellence, and to honour outstanding efforts.
