RAK Ruler receives Amal Al Qubaisi April 20,2017

RAS AL KHAIMAH, 20th April, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, today received Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council, FNC, and Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Zaabi, FNC Second Deputy Speaker, and several FNC members in his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah, attended the meeting The FNC delegation came to Ras al-Khaimah as part of a series of visits to the different emirates of the nation, to learn more about their achievements.

H.H. Sheikh Saud welcomed the FNC’s speaker and members, highlighting that the wise leadership is supporting them to perform their national duty, to serve the people and the community.

He added that the UAE has become a global model to follow in democracy and loyal national work while highlighting the UAE’s important recent achievements in nation building and achieving the prosperity of citizens.

The meeting addressed several issues related to providing best services for citizens and residents, and comfort, dignity and decent lives for members of the UAE community.

H.H. Sheikh Saud stressed the importance of the FNC’s role in serving the public interest and addressing various issues and developments democratically concerning the nation, in line with international and regional developments.

Dr. Al Qubaisi briefed H.H. Sheikh Saud about the FNC’s local and international programmes, plans and strategies, and about the report of the council’s 16th legislative session.

She praised the significant achievements that took place in Ras al-Khaimah, due to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Saud.

She stressed the desire of the FNC to promote communication with community events and institutions through various field visits to public and private sectors institutions, as well as holding panel discussions and workshops and hosting representatives of community events.
