RAK Investment Opportunities Showcased to Ambassadors September 26,2018

A forum for the Latin American diplomatic missions in the UAE has been organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and in cooperation with the RAK Economic Zone (RAKEZ).
The forum's opening ceremony, held at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of RAK Customs Department and Chairman of RAKEZ; and Mohamed Ali Musabah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry; alongside members of the Chamber’s board of directors, and Mohammed Hasan Al Sabab, Acting Director of the Chamber.
Mohamed Ali Musabah Al Nuaimi welcomed the Latin American delegates, lauding the relations between the UAE and their countries. He showcased the achievements of the UAE in general, presenting those of Ras Al Khaimah in particular. While providing a summary about the investment potential and the myriad of opportunities within the Emirate, Al Nuaimi stated that Ras Al Khaimah has become an attractive haven for investment with its advanced technological infrastructure, air and sea freight and transport sectors, and logistic services of the highest levels.
Al Nuaimi noted that the goal of this forum is to attract high-quality investments in line with the UAE Vision 2021 and to open more channels for collaboration. Of the more than 250 companies, he said, 100 are registered within RAKEZ.
He asserted that Ras Al Khaimah has become a global hub for businesses and investments due to the myriad of benefits and leading incentives that attract investors from all over the world. Such has only become possible, he added, under the guidance and the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah.
