RAK Ruler issues Human Resources Law, Medals Decree for local police October 23,2017

RAS AL KHAIMAH, 23rd October, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has issued the Human Resources Law No. 04 of 2017 and the Medals and Badges Decree No.17 of 2017 for the Ras al-Khaimah Police.
Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras al-Khaimah Police, has commended the Law and the Decree issued by the H.H. RAK Ruler and said that they reflect the progress being made in the development of police human resources in the emirate and the organisation of their rights and duties, which serves the emirate's public interests, and underlines RAK Ruler's keenness to provide employees with a decent life.
He highlighted the RAK Ruler's keenness to support human resources in the emirate, as they are the basis for ensuring sustainable development, noting that he always seeks to promote work security and happiness among the police, which translates in increased productivity and high-quality services.
The Emiri Decree No. 17 of 2017, concerning the local badges and medals in the RAK police, stipulates that the distribution of medals and badges to military and civil employees in the RAK Police shall be implemented as per the following classification: First, the Medals of Excellence/ Medal of Merit - Academic Achievement Medal (two grades) - Security Co-operation Medal shall be given based on the decision of the RAK Ruler. Second, the Distinguished Badges for Departments and Specific Units - Badges of Recognition shall be given based on the decision of the RAK Police Commander-in-Chief.
According to Law No. 04 of 2017, the Commander-in-Chief is assigned to form the RAK Military Human Resources Committee.
