RAK Ruler hails role of Arab scientists and intellectuals to support education process March 27,2017

RAS AL KHAIMAH, 27th March, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah hailed the role played by the Arab intellectuals and scientists to support the educational march and social development in the Arab countries and their contributions to support development and progress to achieve the economic and social stability and raise scientific and intellectual level of the peoples of the region.

He also commended Arab scientific institutions to unify efforts of scientific research and enhance joint cooperation among member states.

The remarks were made when Sheikh Saud received on Monday at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, Dr. Moza Saif Matar Al Shamsi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chemists and President of the UAE Chemical Society, members of the General Secretariat, the Supreme Council of the Union and heads of the participating delegations in the 18th international conference of the Union of Arab Chemists, ICUAC.

The event, held in Ras al-Khaimah from 26th -28th April, is organised under the patronage of Ras al-Khaimah Ruler. RAK Ruler expressed his satisfaction at the distinguished efforts of the union and briefing the Arab society about the role of Chemistry which would contribute to developing the Arab society in various domains.

Dr. Al Shamsi extended thanks for Sheikh Saud for patronising the event and the union.
